Capitol Hill Intern Update (March 29, 2021)
Before we get to this week’s content, I figured I’d do a brief introduction:
My name is Shruti Nayak and I’m a current college student and member of the POPVOX team! I get excited about politics, banana bread, and any album by Hozier. When I’m not doing schoolwork, you’ll find me taking long walks, painting with friends, and possibly…compiling the weekly Intern Update!
If you have any input or questions for our newsletter, feel free to share them with me at shruti@popvox.com :) Thanks for subscribing!
This week is a slow one for Congress with no bills and only one hearing. I encourage you to channel this energy throughout the week — slow down, get some rest, and take a second to breathe!
